"Another JAL Delay"
My JAL flight got delayed again, they barely explained what was going on. Because of that, I had to rush like crazy to make my connection — not exactly a relaxing travel day. I expected better punctuality from them, so this was disappointing

Booked through JAL and, yeah, the flight was actually really comfortable. I’m tall, so I was fully prepared to act normal while silently suffering, but the legroom was surprisingly decent. Didn’t feel crammed in at all, which was a nice little shock. Totally calm about it, obviously, but I’d definitely fly with them again.
"I was hoping to pass the time..."
I was hoping to pass the time watching a few movies, but the entertainment system was disappointing. Most of the movies felt old, the screen kept freezing, and I had to keep messing with the remote because it barely worked. Since it was a long flight, it made the whole trip feel even longer than it needed to.
"Not the cheapest, but worth it for what’s included"
I booked my Japan Airlines ticket through jal.co, and overall I’d say it was a good experience. It wasn’t the lowest price I came across, so if you’re only chasing the cheapest fare, it might not be the best option. But for me, having bags, seat selection, and decent service included made the price feel fair. The website was straightforward enough, and I didn’t run into any issues when paying. The flight left on time, and the staff were polite and helpful. For what I needed, I was happy with it and would probably book with them again...

"Just a heads up for anyone…"
Just a heads up for anyone planning to fly with them: my experience wasn’t great. The crew barely seemed friendly, my drinks took a really long time to arrive, and my call button was ignored twice. Maybe it was just an off day, but it definitely wasn’t the level of service I expected.

Online check-in was super quick and didn’t give me any trouble at all (which is always a relief). I had my boarding pass ready in no time.

"Worked fine, but payment was slow"
Overall it worked fine, but the payment page sent me through the process twice, which was a bit frustrating. I was expecting a faster response, especially at checkout.

"Booking was okay, payment felt a bit off"
Booking on jal.co.jp was straightforward overall, but my gut feeling on the payment page wasn’t great. It felt slow and a little confusing, and I had to try more times than I expected before my card finally went through. It worked in the end, so I can’t say it was terrible, but it definitely didn’t feel as smooth as it should have.

"Award seats are almost never available"
I do actually like flying with JAL, but trying to use miles on jal.co.jp has been a real headache. Award seats are so hard to find, especially if you’re looking for normal travel dates or need more than one seat. The site will show options, then when you try to book, suddenly nothing works or it pushes you into some strange route. I ended up checking over and over and even had to chase them to get any clear answer, which was really frustrating. It’s not the worst website ever, but for booking with miles, it’s been disappointing

"A Bit Hit or Miss"
Booking on jal.co was mostly fine, but it felt a little hit or miss. The process itself wasn’t too hard, but the fare details got confusing because taxes and extra fees didn’t really show up until later than I expected. It wasn’t a bad experience overall, I just wish the total price had been clearer from the beginning.

"I stopped by and it was…"
I stopped by and it was definitely more crowded than I expected, so it took a little patience to move around and get what I wanted. That said, the snacks were actually decent and made the visit worth it. Not the most relaxing experience, but if you don’t mind the crowd, it’s not a bad place to grab a quick bite.

"Worth it if you’re on JAL a lot"
I mostly use jal.co.jp to book flights and keep an eye on my miles. The rewards thing has actually been better than I thought, miles seem to build up quickly, and using them wasn’t as much of a hassle as I expected. The site does get a little slow here and there, especially when I’m trying to check that stuff, but overall it feels like a decent deal if you fly JAL fairly often...

"Surprisingly Good Flight Meal"
i was surprised by how good the meal was. The rice was soft, the fish tasted fresh, and the miso soup came nice and warm. They also came around with drinks often, which was great. Definitely way better than what I usually expect on flights...

"I flew with JAL last month after booking..."
I flew with JAL last month after booking through JAL, and overall the cabin was in good shape. The seats looked tidy, the tray table was clean, and thankfully there were no weird sticky spots, which is always a relief.
The bathroom also stayed decent for most of the flight, which I always pay attention to because some airlines let that get ridiculous quickly. The blanket and pillow seemed fresh enough too, so no complaints there.
I’d give it 4 stars because there was a bit of dust near the window and a few crumbs by the seat pocket. Nothing that ruined the flight, just a couple of small misses that kept it from feeling totally spotless.

"Booking took way longer than it should have"
I tried booking a flight on jal.co, and the whole experience felt clunky. A few pages were slow to load, and every time I changed one small detail, it kept kicking me back to earlier steps like the site wasn’t really listening to what I was trying to do. The mobile version wasn’t much better either, the buttons are tiny and the layout feels outdated. I did manage to finish the booking in the end, but it took way longer than it should have. Not the worst experience ever, but it definitely feels like no one has paid much attention to making it easier for customers.

"Canceling Was Surprisingly Easy"
I was kind of expecting the cancellation process to be annoying, but it was actually easy. I went through it without much hassle, and then the refund showed up a few days later. Not instant, but still reasonable, so overall I can’t really complain

"Bad first impression with the long bag wait"
Not a great first impression. I ended up waiting way too long for my bag, and it was frustrating just standing around with no clear update. After a trip, the last thing you want is to be stuck waiting forever for something that should be simple.
